Nicole DeTommaso currently works as an Investment Banking Associate in the Communications, Media & Entertainment group at RBC Capital Markets. She spent two years as an Analyst in the group before receiving an early promotion to Associate in July 2019. During her time at RBC, she has participated in many of the firm’s diversity initiatives including the Women’s Advisory Program, LGBT+ Insights Program and the U.S. Diversity Leadership Council. Additionally, Nicole sits on the Analyst & Associate Advisory Board, a group of 20 individuals focused on the well-being and retention of junior bankers. 

In May 2017, Nicole graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Economics-Mathematics. In addition to her studies, Nicole worked downtown at Water Island Capital, an investment firm focused on event-driven strategies, and also as a Teaching Assistant in Columbia’s Economics department. 

Outside of work, Nicole has a passion for real estate investing and loves to explore NYC’s amazing restaurants.
